Beautiful place! Nice sandpit lakes with clean, clear water. Has a lot of good access for fishing. There is one small swimming beach. We had the beach to ourselves on a Monday afternoon, but after 4 or 5, a lot more people showed up and it was a bit crowded. A couple of downsides: we couldn't find a trashcan or dumpster anywhere to discard trash. It is possible there is a dumpster that we didn't notice, or was in a different area than where we were looking to discard trash. Some people inconsiderately left a bit of litter around the beach area. We tried to clean up some litter, but there was no trashcan near us at the time. There are only pit toilets, no restrooms with running water or sinks. I didn't see anyplace for campers to get water, but I also did not make it a point to seek it out so it's possible we just didn't see it. We didn't camp, but there are numerous secluded camp spots with firepits and lake access. Overall we really enjoyed our day of fishing, swimming and having a cookout.
