This wilderness park is one of my favorites to visit. There is a newly built 3 level tier like balcony for site seeing and a fishing dock near to it. There is a cool amphitheater located in the forest trail. Camping sites are available. This park is well maintained. Picnic pavilions & restrooms are clean, also the playground equipment are fairly new.

I’ve also discovered while walking along the trail miniature TRAINS! The Central Pasco & Gulf Railroad CPGRR. *Privately owned although located in the park. Every second Saturday 10-2pm a one dollar donation per person gets you a ride through the forest with other cool discoveries at the train yard. Along with Carolwood Barn a mini museum! Which made this park even more awesome!
