Campsite: Carson National Forest La Junta Canyon
Beautiful scenery...beautiful views of Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico! A big plus they were covered in snow! There is also the chance you will encounter loose cattle; we did so be careful. These are mountain roads with lots of curves, but well worth the drive from Tierra Amarilla to Taos!
