Heard about this place on PBS Oregon Field Guide 20 years ago and finally was in the area. All workers and train drivers are volunteers and they don’t charge you to ride the trains! People were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the scenery and relaxing train ride. The museum was great as well with some very cool old train cars you get to climb in and explore. Highly recommended and we will be back!
