Campsite: Little Naches Campground
Another fun weekend camping in the books! We stayed at Little Naches Campgrounds just outside of Yakima in the Wenatchee National Forest.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’re still not sure how we landed such an incredible campsite so late in the season but we made sure to enjoy every minute of it. For those who haven’t been to Little Naches Campgrounds, here’s a great booking tip — campsites 3 and 4 are literally on the river, making for a very awesome experience and peaceful stay.

Each campground comes equipped with a great picnic table, fire pit and grill that sits over the fire pit. There are plenty of trees for hanging hammocks and space for outdoor games. There’s a lot of tree coverage, which helps things stay dry when it rains.

If you’re interested in booking Little Naches or learning more about the campground, we recommend downloading the Recreation.GOV app (currently only available for iPhone owners) and searching for Little Naches Campgrounds. The app has all the info about the campsite and even allows you to book conveniently through the app.

Campsite: North Fork Campground — Olympic National Park
Loved our first stay at the North Fork Campground! Not too far of a drive from Seattle (2.5 hours), with plenty of picturesque scenery to enjoy along the way. We reserved our camp spot online via. the Recreation.gov smart phone app and showed up to our reserves campsite. Everything was cleaned up real nice for us, which was awesome! There’s plenty of nearby trails for the adventurer and a river to enjoy as well. Campsites weren’t too close together and our Saturday night was very quiet and enjoyable. Campsite also sells firewood (which is great) and they can provide chopping tools if you don’t have a set of your own. #PNWonderland
