Out of the way location but worth it.if you plan on camping or enjoying free hot springs. We came in from the south which, from speaking with others, has better road conditions. We didn't camp there but it is secluded and no services other than rudimentary toilets.

Loved the campground. Very quiet but the hiking trails were closed due to hunters. Event center across the road has rodeos scheduled on many weekends. Nearby town of Edna has an interesting museum.

Stayed here for several days. Although it was very rainy and windy the entire time, the location was unbeatable. Sites are first come and you pay at a station located in the parking lot. Cold showers only and the bathrooms could use updating. Potable water and empty station are nearby. Driving through the park is a pleasure. Due to weather, did not drive on the beach.
