I LOVE this campground...and the hosts (these newer hosts would NEVER go thru your stuff or bother you)!!! I don't know the names of the current hosts, but they are the nicest hosts I've ever met! So, please don't pay attention to the reviews that are 3 years old, things have obviously changed!!

Anyway, this campground is well maintained and the hosts do make sure you're aware of the rules, as there have been bear nearby.

This is our 4th summer camping at E.Sullivan and we will continue camping there! There are no camp sites right on the water, but there are several very close by. Some of the sites closer to the water don't offer alot of privacy, but the loop furthest from the water definitely offers privacy. There are plenty of bathrooms, but there could be more water spigots. Each site has its own bear box and campers must store food, coolers, etc in them. There is a swimming area (not roped off) with a dock at about 5 feet of water. There is an airstrip right next to the campground, and during this visit last week we saw/heard two planes take off. West Sullivan CG is right on the other side of the airstrip...it's nice too but alot smaller.

So, if you want a beautiful lake to camp by, E Sullivan Lake campground is it!!! Check it out!
