Stopped here on a motorcycle trip...very cool hidden gem in the middle of the desert. Ironically it was actually raining and very windy when we arrived (early June) but it quickly cleared up and we had a fantastic view of the stars that night.

The lake looked a bit low but there were a ridiculous amount of fish in it as you could see the bloop holes everywhere. I'm not a fish person but my buddy who's a fly fisherman went down in the evening and they were biting practically instantly after casting.

Covered spots, vault toilets, not many people there. Pretty sweet spot!
