It's only an hour and a half from NOLA! My wife and I had a very relaxing 3 days here. Nice people, quiet nights. Fishing off the dock was great, seems to be plenty of bait in these waters where the shrimpers go in and out. The very close restaurant Ceana's was excellent, we had fried chicken and shrimp po-boys. The very close Dollar General has everything you might need. The locals are charming, really gives you a feel of the culture. We bought fresh off the boat jumbo shrimp right up the road and stocked our RV freezer. We'll be back!
