Staying here was an absolute WIN. We stayed in bobcat campground site B01. The site was large and felt secluded with the natural rock and trees between sites. All sites had lots of space between them. Having the drinking water close by was also nice so that we could fill up whenever we needed. The vault toilets were the cleanest I have EVER experienced. The rangers were very welcoming and kept a close eye on things to assure that campers were following the guidelines that would keep this park natural and beautiful which I really appreciated. We had deer and elk walk through or along the edge of our camp. The wildflowers blanketed the ground. If you are in need of showers, which they don't have I recommend Village laundry in estes park less than 10 minutes away. Also, hiking in RMNP was just a little more than a 30 minute drive to beaver meadows entrance. Only suggestion to park staff would be to maybe add some signage for Krueger rock trailhead. We had lots of hikers end up at our site asking where the trailhead is. I assume they were following the first sign that says Krueger which is to the overflow lot. Didn't mind helping ofcourse but in our 4 day stay we probably redirected atleast 10 different hiking parties. Highly recommend this campground.
