Took a quick overnight camping trip and it did not disappoint! Carters Lake is beautiful and clean. I stayed at site 21 and had a decent view of the lake but the best part was that there is a little trail that leads down to it.Its also right across from the beach. The staff was friendly, the area was well patrolled and the restrooms were clean. The only complaint that I have is that the picnic table was taking of most of the dirt landing but there was still just enough room for my small tent right next to the grill so if you’re planning on using it you'll probably have to move your tent out the way. Other than that I really enjoyed my visit.
