Site 38 was ✨magical✨
We stayed here for two nights with our 43 foot fifth wheel. Boondocking is always a challenge for us with such a big rig, but we were allowed to run our generator at any point during the day (quiet hours 10pm-6am) and our site was right next to the bathroom which was convenient too. The view was stunning and a perfect way to spend Easter weekend. $10/night, dry camping.
One of those places you don’t want anyone else to know about… This is probably the nicest state park we’ve ever stayed at. We are a full-time RV family and this place was awesome because it had full hook ups, campsite big enough to fit our 43 foot rig, and you just can’t beat the backyard. Our kids absolutely loved exploring here! We enjoyed the disc golf course, the miniature Rock wall that was outside the visitor center, biking through the campground. Even their visitor center has amazing shop selection. They have a little hammock chairs hanging outside the visitor center (I still plan on bringing a book over there at some point this week to read). The campsites have great space between each and I don’t think you can have a bad view. We had campsite K022.
