We have stayed at this park for a while now and don't know where some of these bad reviews are coming from as they don't explain the bad reviews (just the host is terrible or the new management is bad). The front staff has always been amiable and helpful if you want to know a little about the area. Bathrooms and laundry service are well kept for the age this area is. The quarter machine does not work; we had to get quarters from the front office. I can't speak for the new management as I don't know what the old management was like. The host they are no different than any other host at a military camp. I have been a host on a military base before coming here, and it is only a voluntary position. You shouldn't be upset at the host for their manners if you knock on their house after dark (9 pm or later) or early in the morning (Before 7 am). I'm sure everyone doesn't like to be bothered at those times. As for the other reviews that express, they like to stay in control and don't go straight to your campsite. Of course, like all military campsites, you must sign the paperwork, and some signs say it as soon as you drive into the camp. It's just following the rules. The speed limit is enforced for safety reasons, especially since children play in the park. Despite this, the camp area is very pleasant, and we would gladly stay here again if we were to pass through.
