This was an unexpected stop one weekend. I wish I were better prepared because the lake is best seen from a canoe. The day was cool and colder on the water and neither of us had the right clothing to stay warm for an impromptu canoe trip! Yet, even from the two access points we found, one for boats and the other a couple of piers with canoe rentals, the lake is stunning! We are definitely planning to return.
