The trailhead sign is mostly gone but there is a new treated wood post at the beginning of the trailhead across the road from the small parking lot.

Bring plenty of mosquito repellent!

There is currently small spring almost to the lookout(1/4 mile or so) that you can fill up containers of water for cooking and dish washing.

Next visitors bring a new fly swatter and a log book, the latest one is full.
