Beautiful space, super friendly staff. Cabins cute and have everything you need (bring eye masks if you want to sleep past sunrise). Hammock and fire pit at each. Big difference in views from lakeside cabins (view of lake!!) and interior cabins (forestry car camping vibe, view of car/play structure). Ours (#6) had full kitchen w oven, stove, toaster, Keurig coffee machine w many coffee and tea pods, beautiful dishes, plenty of utensils and glasses and mugs. Full bath/shower, double bed in loft at top of A frame, futon in lower level was great for our 11 y/o.

Kayaks and paddle boats available to use. Main cabin / reception space is beautiful and welcoming. Strong wifi, comfy sofas and dining table, board games and books to borrow, front porch. Gary is super attentive, helpful, and kind. Staff (couple from Texas) are super nice and welcoming too. Lots to do in nearby Seward and lots of trails nearby (they advised bringing mosquito nets; we didn’t stay long enough to try).

In Aug 2023 there was major construction on highway, with truck beeps and rock-clearing detonation noise, so that meant you couldn’t hear the silence, but still it’s beautiful.
