Staying at Lake Frederick has been one of the highlights of my cadet career. I have visited this campground on four separate occasions in the last four years and every time I come back is even more memorable than the last. One of the biggest reasons for that is because of the kind caring and empathetic caretakers, Dan and Janet. They have made me and countless of my peers feel at home, even though most of us are miles away. They put in hours of work to make the campground look and feel clean, safe, and comfortable for students and families alike. The beach, open land, and cabins make for a perfect weekend getaway—and all for a price you can’t beat! I would recommend visiting this lovely hidden gem to anyone.
