Wood Lake Recreation area and Campground I made a visit by there Jan. 24, 2019 to check out lake access for a fishing trip in near future.

You will pass by the campsites heading down to the boat ramp there. I will say it's a nice ramp 1 lane for lake access but I could only see two maybe three places to park a vehicle with boat trailer.

Like I mentioned before you pass by campsites coming in and campers look like they are homesteading the area with you name it laying around looks like they have been there for months very dumpy looking .

I would be afraid to stay overnight there just to be honest with you and I'm a grown man used to being in the outdoors.

You might be okay parking a vehicle with boat trailer there during daylight hours but I'd have some reservations about it seriously.

I can't say anything about warmer weather how it might change, just relaying my recent experience.
