Campsite: Prospector Campground

This is the loudest campground I've ever stayed in. I expect that when disperse camping near others, but not in a campground like this. I'm guessing it was just the timing, but we had one large group next to us with several tents and a party tent with party lights. They played music and talked loudly well into the night the two nights we overlapped, so I can say there are no quiet hours enforced here. There was another group the previous two nights playing music loudly all day, but they turned it off around 10. If but for the noise level, I would rate this 5 star and it's only because of the amazing scenery that I am rating 4 star. However, knowing the quiet hours are not a thing here, I'm not sure I'd camp here again.

One thing I didn't realize is that you have to pay extra for a 2nd vehicle in addition to what you pay on rec.gov when you reserve your spot. I somehow missed this when making my reservation, so I thought I'd mention it here. If you have a second (or I guess more since the loud group had a few cars) you will have to pay the camp host for a parking pass.

The views are spectacular. It's a mix of small pines to some scattered older pines. Amazing views of the mountains from many sites. Some sites are smaller/more condensed than others, but for the most part many are somewhat private. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The camp host was nice and friendly. The walk down to the water is steep and beautiful. There are 5 loops in this large campground, and it's simple to navigate. It is a nice compact dirt road in the campground with about a .5 mile washboardish dirt road into the campground.

Cell service: At&t and Verizon were both decent at our campsite.

Campsite: Collin Park

This place is great! There's a great little trail system (most of the pictures that I'm attaching), baseball fields, playgrounds, picnic areas and much more that I did not have time to see. There seemed to be plenty of parking and a decent restroom WITH parking for the restrooms right there. The little trail system had an "offroad" area which could be fun on a mountain bike. I live in Colorado, so my definition for mountain biking is a little different but this looked like a different kind of fun. :) I love little trails that wander through trees like this one does. If you have some time and are in the area, this is a great place to spend some time!
