This place is truly unique. I've lived in Manatee County since 1987 and never knew this museum was here until we decided to visit Myakka State Park. This is a few minutes down the road from the North entrance of the park. If you love history, seeing historical buildings, or walking around for an adventure, this museum has it all! Honestly, we enjoyed this much more than the park. Also, they have a whole area for kids to play and adventure in.
