If you go in the winter, be prepared for the new cross country ski loop that takes over part of this trail. It's a wonderful new FREE addition to this area that we'll be taking advantage of next winter. It's mostly easy to avoid groomed trails, but there are small sections that are unavoidable. Just be a good citizen and walk on the very edge so you don't mess it up for the skiers (or run the risk of getting mowed down).
