Breathtaking pit stop between Kanab, UT and Page, AZ. The few miles into the “town” is a dirt road that is rocky but very doable. I drove down there with my two door coupe and had no issues when the road was dry. I went a second time, and I suggest you don’t go after a rainstorm because I almost got stuck, and trust me, this type of mud sticks and cakes onto your tires. I had to pull over every quarter mile to chip away at this mud and PRAYED I wouldn’t slip away when there was a larger hill to climb. I noticed on the way there a 4x4 jeep that didn’t even venture down there and that should have clicked for me. Go during the sunset and watch the blues come to life as darkness falls. It’s unforgettable.
