Ive hiked Eagle Rock Loop several times. This is my first time to check out the Eagle Rock Vista. There's a small campsite up here and LTE cellular coverage! It was nice to Facetime the family after a couple of days without service. If you are hiking the loop, its worth the 10 minute detour to check this out!

Camped 2 nights at site 74. It was a last minute trip and that was the only spot available. The site was spacious and clean. All parts of the part were well kept. The playgrounds are old, which is pretty on par for Texas State Parks. I will go back in the future and get spot that backs up to the lake.
