Campsite: Chief Mountain South Campground
Campground is nice and surrounded by a Juniper forest. The elevation here is over 6,000 ft so I moved on for more suitable weather. The overnight low in Caliente, 4500 ft, is to be at freezing, so at 6,000 ft it would be much colder.
