The federal campground is great. The swimming area is sand and great for kids. Most electric sites have 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp service. The sites are back in. Everything accept the beach is dog friendly. The campground is quiet. The sites are separated somewhat so there is some privacy. the water is soft and good tasting. Sanitation facilities are provided. The Rangers are very friendly and helpful. Cell phone coverage is limited.
