Campsite: BLM Mineral Point Dispersed Camping Area
The road down is narrow and a little bit heart stopping, but keep going. We were in a truck and were doubting if we will make it down. Then we saw another truck coming up and figured we can give it a try. There were some people camping and some of them drove down in their cars, so I guess go for it even in a car. The stream is right by the campsite. It's very pretty. We were only scouting the place to see if we want to come camp here later in the summer and we liked it.
Campsite: Kolob Resevoir
Visited for the first time today and we loved it. The lake is pretty big. There is a dirt road that goes all the way around it, so you can drive around and choose a place where you want to camp, fish or just hang out. Lots of dust from the cars though. There are areas perfect for camping everywhere. Finding one that's not taken is another thing. We drove almost all the way around until we found a spot. There are also restroom structures here and there which is very nice. Lots of people camping, fishing, paddle boarding, boating, etc. Everyone is nice and respectful. We just came fishing for a day. The fish jumps out of the water teasing you 😂 unfortunately we didn't catch anything, but the guy next to us caught plenty. We will be coming back and we will definitely rent a boat to go to the middle of the lake to explore the tiny island. There is also a store nearby.
