A young couple (Mason and Chaslin) has recently bought it. The place is very basic in what it offers which is my reason for being three stars (until I had to change it to one star because of the lying). I have a nice diesel pusher and it's not the kind of place I would normally stay. I did not go in and look at the facilities but they seem like they're probably pretty spartan (by the way the chassis on my rig is a Spartan which means something totally different in regard to the dumpish looking nature of this RV Park!). I repeat that again because for most people's purposes this park might be totally adequate although there is no cable or internet. They're also is no pavement and it's also very tight spacing. When these folks bought it it was packed up with people working on the windmills (Wanzek) but that project is down so there's only about three people staying there and about 25 open spaces (roughly). For my purposes it rates about a two or three but because of the straight up lie that I was told about charging for electric I would never stay there again. If Chaslin tells you anything don't believe it unless it's written down on a piece of paper with her signature. Then based on the way she acted I would still not believe her. I would be surprised if anybody would rate the place over a three but then that would only be in comparison to other places as there are some rough places in West Texas and East New Mexico. .I'd recommend it over La Hacienda on the other side of town because I had serious power issues over there! At least those people were honest at La Hacienda - they didn't even charge me for the 3 days I stayed because of the power issues they acknowledged. No lie, avoid this dump, I mean RV Park.
