Campsite: Almont Campground

Awesome place for primitive camping. Only $14/night. Has primitive toilets. No power or water. Love that there are sites with access to the creek. Makes washing pans very easy. Only downside is good bit of road noise. But for a quick night on the way to Crested Butte, it’s great. Right off the road and quick.

Campsite: Walnut Flats Campground

Beautiful and totally free! This was a great place to stop for a night on my way up to West Virginia. The campground is relatively small, but it was great. There are hole in the ground bathrooms, fire rings, and even a water pump on the right side. There weren't many picnic tables from what I saw. When I was there the back was filled with RVs so there was not much room.

Campsite: Conaway Run State Lake

A cheap and primitive Campground is located here. The sites are pretty and peaceful but there is not much tree coverage at all. The sites are $10 for the night. There's a creek running behind the campsites that is quite nice and useful for washing pots and pans , it cetera. I could not find any bathrooms and there is no running water on site. There is a water fountain at one of the campsites, but it is no longer working.
