This was another excellent discovery on our recent travels of the upper midwest and both of the Dakota states. These Grasslands are located in the southwestern part of South Dakota, and we found them to be a beautiful view of prairies and chalky badlands.

This was a National grassland in South Dakota that visited a few months ago, while we were traveling and enjoying many other tourist attractions. We were able to easily find the location with our GPS device and Google maps. These Grasslands are the second largest ones and they're maintained by the U.S. Forest Service.
