After calling around to every option in the area I tried one last resort. Traveling with my one year old puppy gets you a lot of "no's" when looking for a room for just one night. One local hotel was happy to offer a $390 night deluxe room. Called here and was offered an entire cabin for just $159 for the night. Being that there weren't to many other options I took it... after all it was the 4th of July weekend. Had a late arrival and the owners accommodated me. Upon my arrival I was greater by Dan who worked out the details and got me settled in. While I have stayed at the best resorts money can buy.... this was just what I needed for my situation. Basic yet comfortably appointed cabin. I enjoyed watching the many families camping and celebrating family time. Close to all the places I needed to get to. Thanks Dan...you da man! 👍
