Campsite: Oliver Lee Memorial State Park — Oliver Lee State Park

I camped here one night after visiting White sands National Park.

The place is clean, quiet and easy to find. It's about 20 minutes away from White sands.

The campsites are pretty large and have hookups for RVs. Water and electricity. You can tent camp here as well.

They have latrine style toilets and showers on site. They're located centrally in the middle of the loop.

There are park hosts here year round. I'm met one as soon as I was pulling in and she was very helpful. They have a dog "#1... It looks super nice and I wanted to pet it, but I resisted the temptation to ask 😆

Campsite: Turkey Bend RV Park

Turkey Bend is one a favorite location of mine for camping and fishing. It's nothing fancy. Just what camping should be. There are restrooms at the front of the park and Portable Toilets throughout. Camp grounds have a pole for hanging trash or food from; as well as a picnic table, campfire ring, and barbeque grill. I paid $5 to get inside the park. Fees may vary depending on how many people you bring and how long you stay. I do remember the sign saying "Horse and Rider $12" lol so that's nice to know.

Campsite: Haterius Park

We had a great time over the Memorial Day weekend at Haterius Park. There was a fishing tournament scheduled for that day, but it was so windy most the fisherman opted not to take their boats out which left the park pretty empty.

We still had some luck catching a few different fish earlier in the morning. Park looks nice. Has a playground for kids and a free boat ramp. I'd definitely go back again.
