This spot is serene af. Since you're booking on hipcamp, you're surrounded by hipsters. Many sites are setup among the redwoods besides a few on the lake at the end. There is a great hike if you go down the street past site 19 on the right leading to a forest and then an overlook vista point. Do that. Plenty of awesomeness here. The road leading up can be bad though. You can't get your conversion van or camper up here.

TIP: Call ahead to check the status on the fire ban and the state of the road leading up. At the time of writing this there were several rock slides and the road is actually crumbling a bit so it's been closed before.
