Campers must reserve sites in advance by going online. It costs $10 per site per night plus a $10 "reservation fee". Campers can not pick a site, and pay with a fee envelope on site as is the practice at all other US Forest Service campgrounds. When the phone number provided to make a reservation is called a message says, "This number is no longer in service". The campground is beautiful but little used as this reservation system is not available to all users unless they have access to a computer and internet.
