Campsite: Downtown Riverside RV Park

The best spots are along the river. The center sites are made to put rigs back to back; so, you may not get the whole pad. They have nice benches along the river for sitting and viewing it and the bridges that light up. They have a large pavilion with picnic tables that is nice for big groups. The entry gate has a dip right before you enter that will make long campers drag. The bath houses are new and nice/clean. The park was mainly a nightly stop each day for folks.

Campsite: Buckhorn RV Park

Beautiful RV Park! The park is outstanding. They have trash pickup daily, they have two RV detailing mobile service companies on file, Propane truck comes to your RV to top the tanks off on Fridays, they have lots of site seeing activities, afternoon events to get folks mingling, tennis and pickle ball courts with pickup games at 0900 CST. Our site 6149 was in the new executive area with large concrete pads, golf course like grass area, patio table and chairs on concrete pad. No burn pits unless you bring your own. A river flows through the park. If you wish to see high end diesel pushers this place is it. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Campsite: Patriot RV Park

The park manager is a great young man named David and the son-in law of the new owner. He is very helpful and polite. The park having been recently acquired is under lots of renovation work. The previous RV Store and office is being renovated. The gravel roads and pads that exist need some major work. They need asphalt ASAP over the already compacted gravel. Dust from campground speeders is abundant - so plan to clean your interior constantly. Lots of grass stickers that will make your dog have bad walk days. Its Texas though and the only way to remove stickers is drag a carpet behind a lawn mover or lots of water. WIFI is non-existent - we had to use our booster to get the Texas Best Truck Station Internet for use. Power is questionable. Lots of old breakers and abandoned telephone equipment at pedestals. Trees need limbs cleared to allow campers to travel the roads and park without incident. Lots of permanent tenants making space limited. Lots of stored items needing cleaned up. Abandoned items need removed. Road signs showing traffic flow required. Pool was nice. Laundry and Restrooms clean. The river appears stagnant and not suitable yet for tubing or hanging out at. Water pressure great. Sewer functions well. Nearby horses are cool to watch. A great park right now for one or two night stops. Owner needs employees for sure to help them achieve their dream of a nice park. Again it is being worked and will improve. We camped at Patriot RV Parks - Luling in a Fifth Wheel.

Campsite: Timber Ridge RV Park

The park is kept clean and is easy to navigate through. Wide asphalt roads and large concrete pads. Speed bumps are present and abundant. No golf carts, utv or other same type vehicle permitted. Small dog park and pens not permitted at the sites. Recent renovations included improving drainage at rv sites. The only power at the pedestals is 30 or 50 amp. The 110v outlets are not in use. LP is on site and easy to get refills. The camp host picks up your LP tanks too and brings them back. They have trash pickup and a large dumpster for boxes. Some pads though have steep entry into them and can drag some rv landing legs. Outer pads are mainly permanent residents. Long term is available. Main road noise is an issue though. The camp host especially Ben are amazing. Water pressure has been repaired but still about 75 psi. Wifi is great. WORTH THE EXTRA $$$ for their high speed access. No trees. Will use this park often. We camped at Timber Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
