We arrived after the check in station had closed for the day but it had a sign up showing the available spots and gave the choice of paying in the morning or using an envelope to pay at the check in station. To claim a spot, it just asked for you to initial the available spot you wanted.

Was pleasantly surprised to find a nice laundry area to take care of our clothes, we are on a cross country camping trip (with an occasional hotel thrown in) and it can be hard to hit a laundry mat so this was fantastic!

The bathroom was very clean and much nicer than most camp grounds. The showers were better than some campgrounds, could use a little more water pressure but not worth a complaint.

Arrived in the evening, had made a same day reservation online and the park had plenty of open spots. There was a notice up about the lake water being down so I'm sure that is the only reason this great campground wasn't full.

I took some photos of the empty spots in the circle we were in, some have excellent shade and others none at all. #21 ended up being a great pick, with several wonderful trees for shade.

We didn't explore too much because of our personal time constraints but on entry, the road to the left leads to the attendants which we never actually met. It was very nice to be at a campground and not harassed by a camp-host constantly walking around but at the same time it felt a little awkward not having a personalized check-in.

My family and I hope to camp here again!
