We stay at the camp grounds at least once a year. The camp ground that is located away from the park is nice. It is more open with less shade. The bathhouse is newer with separate showers. This location would be nice if you hard and boat and had a site on the water.
The older camp ground in the park is very shaded. Several/most of the sites on the inside of the loop have the electric and water hookups on the wrong side. This required us to use a 50 foot hookups (this seems to be very site dependent). There is a nice green way that runs on the outside of the camp ground that will take you to most of the park. It is nice to use the path to walk down to the water. There is no boat access for the camp ground but there is a boat ramp down the road.
Trails in the park are nice (lots of spider webs depending on the time of year). There are some very cool bridges on the trails.
Food is lacking in the park. Sometimes there is a food truck, but I assume there is no food at the park or close by.
