We parked in the beach parking lot and took the trail around the lake, which is about 1.25 miles. Parts are along the lake and parts are in the forest next to the lake. The trails are well marked, flat and relatively easy, but you do need to cover rocky ground. We went the day after rain, and there were some very muddy sections. Overall, a nice walk with a very pleasant view.
