Great little hide away with tall cottonwood trees along the Green River. Campsites are older and the bathrooms are clean, but old. They have flush toilets. No showers. Access to the river and centrally located for this side of Dinosaur National Monument. The slanted rocks tour booklet is worth the $1. Get it and enjoy the sights.

I went to see the pectoglyphs, loved the view and drive. I did not realizing you could not drive all the way to the site or at least closer than the car park area. It was late and hot so just enjoyed the view.

I really wish they would have had a board there detailing the hike, distance to the rock shelter, and maybe a few images. There was nothing posted except details about the hatchery and requirements for anglers.
