We were yearly and regular campers with our entire family of 5 campers for years...until our last visit. This campground is a beautiful spot by the river, but the owners need to go to hospitality and business school. They nickel and dime for everything and complain about everything. For example , my son camps in a one person tent usually on our site without issues, without any additional costs. Last time around we were told it would be an additional $10 per night for the tent. I asked why and he told us that it kills the grass and that covers maintaining to fix the dead grass. Well people use large rugs that kill the grass as well at no extra charge...he ended up arguing with us and told us our business was not needed. This answer didn't make sense. We had never had an issue prior with the previous owners. Not picking at it's finest here. Also, no visitors after 7?? Come on....people work until 5 or 6 and we can have any visitors??? Bad business. Don't go here. He lost 5 campers without any remorse and basically told us to leave. Also don't ask about checking in early, he will jump out of his camper and yell at you.
