Campsite: Lees Ferry Campground — Glen Canyon National Recreation Area

We love Lee's ferry campground, it's just stunning with the Vermillion cliffs on one side and the Colorado River below. This is one of our favorite campgrounds.

The only negative is the lower bathroom is locked needing repairs I believe and it sounds like it's been that way for quite awhile. If you're on the lower half of the campground this means a pretty good hike up to the upper restrooms.

Campsite: Bear Creek Campground

Nice, convenient campground right off the 101 but we heard very little traffic noise. Free with Discover Pass. Sites were very secluded, limited sun so we didn't get much from our solar panels but I'd definitely stay again. Sol Duc river runs right by the camp with a trail running alongside, very nice and the little diner right outside the entrance was great. Toilets were pit toilets so not the greatest but for free in a beautiful setting can't complain too much.

Campsite: Trout Lake Guler Park

First the positive, the little town of Trout Lake is a very cute little town with some nice nearby natural attractions, I would definitely visit here again. The campground however was probably the dustiest campground we've stayed in, and we're on the road the majority of the year so have seen many campgrounds.

Most the sites weren't very private and not that nice. Site 24, where we stayed, had the creek right behind it and we felt was the one nice spot in the campground but it didn't have electric if you need that. Besides the dust the was just one trash bin for the campground and it was seriously overflowing when we arrived and wasn't emptied for another two days. If there had been many animals in the area it would have been a true animal magnet. It was definitely a health hazard.

There was only one restroom, with one stall in the men's room (2 in the women's). A church group came in for the weekend we were there with about 30-40 people over 3 or 4 sites and once they arrived accessing the bathroom was nearly impossible.

If we visit the area again we will definitely find another place to stay.
