Awesome place to camp at the foot of the mountain, nice clean and easily accessible bathrooms and showers. The staff at the entry was very nice and helpful, they took time with me to show me some cool places to visit nearby during my stay. The campsite was excellent with a large picnic table and pergola, as well as a bbq grill and fire pit with grill too. The town center is a 5 min drive away in case you forget any supplies or need ice/gas/air. Showers are $1 for 2 mins and they machine for the shower tokens takes $1, $5, and $10 bills but doesn’t give back change so make sure you bring small bills. Wood bundles were $8 or so for the fire pits during daytime hours at the entry next to the shower token machine. The campsites were also nicely spread out for privacy but sound travels pretty well in the quiet desert so be mindful of neighbors when playing music at night.
