Excellent primitive cabin built by the National Forest Service in the 1940s as a fire lookout post, now available for rent from the NFS. One room with two bunk beds, stove, and table / chairs. Great place to go for a few nights. No electricity or running water; the restroom facility is a NFS outhouse and is kept in good condition with very few visitors to this location. Also close drive to Helena, MT to get supplies. This is an ideal place to escape to for a few days and the price per night is extremely reasonable..
