The campground is owned by a ranching family. While there, the rancher came to by introduce himself. We were made to feel at home, and we had a wonderful chat. The campground is one mile from Agate Fossil Beds National Monument. It is an excellent place to experience the magnificence of the prairie. Dark skies at night are perfect for stargazing. The Milky Way was glorious! We stayed two nights in our trailer. Honor system. Box and forms at gate. RV camping $25 electric/water. $10 tent camping. Dump station. Flush toilet and sink. Six sites with electric and water; two sites water only. We hope to return one day. Recommend!
