Really great campground to launch for 4000 footer hikes. Many of the sites are large and good for groups, but the smaller ones have privacy and great views of the Osceolas. It’s secluded from the rest of the National Forest.

Campground itself is pretty primitive - there is a water pump and latrine bathrooms as well as USFS staff on site, but you have to go near the 93 exit for any supplies you might have forgotten.

The campground is turned into the Waterville Valley Nordic ski trails in the winter.
