We absolutely love taking our kids on this float. We put in at Powhatan State Park and float down to Beaumont boat ramp. The first time we went, the water was completely clear and you could see straight to the bottom. We found plenty of places to stop along the way so the kids could explore and throw their lines in the water. The only downfall was having to pay $5 again upon reentry with our 2nd vehicle after the float was over and an additional $3 for our small trailer. All in all, we paid $13 to float, which isn't terrible, and obviously, it's worth it as we have already been back.
