So, this is a unique and necessary stay for any RVer in the area. It's kinda like a horror movie if you arrive late at night (we even had thick fog!), but people are friendly, the host is very laid back and welcoming, and they have unique amenities, most notably a beautiful prayer garden that is it's own experience, an outdoor church with service on Sundays, a dog park, a playground, a general store, a large pool, and I'm sure there were more things that I wasn't 💯 sure about because I didn't see them, so I won't include them.
We would have stayed longer, but we are a family of four, and the lack of public restrooms and free showers sent us elsewhere. We would burn through our propane in like 3 days if we used our showers for everyone, and so we prefer to use showers on site. They do have shower cabanas you can rent, but it's $5 per person a day. And they charge $50 a night for a site as it is, so that was too much for our liking. If we paid the weekly or monthly rate and had shown up with a full propane tank, it would be a different story.
I took a walk through the prayer garden as the sun was setting, and I sat and watched the sun go down. I was surrounded by beautiful hills, outdoor lighting, and perfectly maintained and coordinated succulent landscaping. It was a peaceful and spiritual moment that I could get used to.
We will definitely return, probably when the weather gets warmer so we can use the gorgeous pool. I certainly hope they will repair the bathroom and shower situation. It would instantly get a 5☆ edited review from me.
