Stayed 10/14-10/16. Chose site 1 as no other sites were available online. Located next to the pit toilet restroom so be prepared to hear the door quite often as it is a metal door and closes hard. Water point is a 2 minute walk but easily visible. Clean restroom. Fire pit was newer and 2 lantern posts were placed very nicely. Tent pad was level and slightly elevated as to not puddle in rain. Picnic table was dated, but level and in decent condition (only one spot of rot). Hosts were very friendly, helpful, and accessible. Primitive style camping but a good view of the water. Canoe/Kayak launch available…very short distance from site 1. Will return. Recommend staying in fall/winter/early spring as insects can be bad during the summer months.
