They allow you to car camp if the campsites are full for a fee. The visitor center leaves the doors open to the bathrooms. Water is available on site.

Nice campground with five primitive sites and one handicap. Sites are walk-in and must walk through sites to get to next one. No water, has fire rings and a chemical latrine. Medium train traffic across the river, but no horn use. Access to river is challenging, steep grade. Road traffic to trailhead is light.
