Super difficult to get to this national park but very worth it! We took the Kennicott shuttle for the McCarthy road and stayed at the Kennicott Glacier Lodge. Highly recommend this lodge since they provide a hotel shuttle pick up and meals.

Definitely hike on the Root Glacier and do the Mill House Tour! So much history in this historic town. The natural beauty is so pristine. Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of big cities for sure!
