We did the 5 mile float and had one kayak as well. The river was so clear and beautiful! I liked the tubes, they had a bottom on them. The kayak was perfect to bring the dog with (he was a puppy and pretty small still). It was such a relaxing afternoon. I would leave plenty of time for the float to make sure you get back before close. It took us close to 5.5 hours and we didn't stop much. I'm sure if the river was higher, it would have been faster. I would definitely go again!
